BD France acquires smaller French hatchery
DanHatch Group's French subsidiary BD France has acquired the smaller hatchery Amilly in central France as on 1 April 2021. Amilly has a hatching capacity of 25 million day-old chicks and with the new acquisition, BD France reaches a total sales volume of just over 185 million day-old chicks on an annual basis.
The new hatchery is located approximately 150 kilometers south of Paris and fits geographically very well into BD France's sales structure, which now includes five hatcheries.
