Our production Hatchery operation with associated rearing and hatching egg production

DanHatch has more than 80 years of experience in the poultry sector where our main activities are the production and sale of day-old chicks and hatching eggs for broiler production. Over the years, we have acquired specialised knowledge which we apply on a daily basis in all areas of our production. We never stand still but work continuously to optimise our processes, just as we are in constant dialogue with suppliers of breeding animals and feed suppliers, respectively, about management conditions and the production of the optimum feed. In this way, we ensure the production of high-quality hatching eggs that form the prerequisite for a viable day-old chick.

Biosecurity is one of the key words in our production. We have carefully established behavioural procedures and high building and hygiene standards at and around all our production farms and hatcheries which ensure optimum protection against infection. At the same time, we endeavour to constantly update our processing equipment to ensure a good working environment for our employees while also ensuring a high level of animal welfare. Our production animals always have access to fresh water and feed and are carefully looked after on a day-to-day basis by our employees at the farms, who prioritise the well-being of the animals and treat them with respect. We believe this creates a healthy production.
