Group CEO of DanHatch Group, Kristian Kristensen, resigns after being struck by illness. Instead, a new group management team is appointed.

The international hatchery group DanHatch Group appoints a new group management team. This is a consequence of the fact that Kristian Kristensen, Group CEO for 26 years, became seriously ill in the fall.

Since then, he has been undergoing rehabilitation, but it is now clear that he will not return to his position as Group CEO of DanHatch Group. Instead, DanHatch’s Group CFO, Lasse Olesen, and Group CHRO, Anette Hermansen, will be appointed as new co-Group CEOs.

"Kristian Kristensen's importance for the development of DanHatch has been unique and cannot be overestimated. His visionary thinking, willpower and good humour have been driving forces for the company's development. We thank Kristian Kristensen for his enormous efforts over many years, and we hope to see him again in a function when his health permits," says Henning Haahr, chairman of the board of DanHatch Holding.

Kristian Kristensen has been at DanHatch for 30 years and has been at the head of the group for 26 years. He looks back on his time in DanHatch with pride and gratitude.

"DanHatch has filled most of my life for many years, and I am proud of what I have been able to accomplish together with fantastic colleagues. It has been a fantastic time, and I will look back on it with joy. At the same time, I am pleased that internal forces are carrying the torch forward," says Kristian Kristensen.

Lasse Olesen and Anette Hermansen each have more than 10 years of seniority in DanHatch and have both been part of the group management for a number of years. Since Kristian Kristensen’s illness, Lasse Olesen and Anette Hermansen have shared management of the DanHatch group. It is in a natural extension of this that they are now constituted as co-Group CEOs.

DanHatch's group management thus now consists of Lasse Olesen, Anette Hermansen and Group CCO Søren Villumsen, who is also CEO of the subsidiary DanHatch Denmark.
