Generational shift in the position of CEO of DanHatch Denmark
Jacob Børresen Jensen has been appointed CEO of DanHatch Denmark, DanBroiler and DanHatch Special with effect from 1 February 2024. This is part of a generational shift, as the current CEO of DanHatch Denmark and Group CCO of DanHatch Group, Søren Villumsen, will step down in mid-January.
Jacob Børresen Jensen comes from a position as Senior Manager in the consulting company Keepers. He is already a familiar face at DanHatch, where he was employed from 2012 to 2022, first as Business Controller and later as Business Development Manager and Production Manager. Therefore, Jacob has in-depth knowledge of everything from the value chain in DanHatch's production to budgeting and finance. At the same time, he has many years of experience as a manager and sparring partner for middle managers, which is why he possesses solid managerial skills.
Jacob holds an MSc in Financial Management and Informatics from Aalborg University. Privately, he lives in Aalborg with his girlfriend and their two boys.
About his new position as CEO of DanHatch Denmark, Jacob says:

It is therefore with great humility and honor that I have now been given the opportunity to return. I bring renewed energy and a commercial drive, and I look forward to charting the future course for DanHatch Denmark in collaboration with colleagues, employees, and the board”.
DanHatch is also looking forward to welcoming Jacob Børresen Jensen back and to the future collaboration.
At the same time, DanHatch would like to thank Søren Villumsen for the great effort during his years in the company, where he has both helped drive DanHatch Denmark forward and, as part of the Group Management, shape the Group. Especially in the development of the commercial part of the business, Søren has played an important role, just as his valued ability to talk to people and form relationships has meant that he has had a great interface both internally in DanHatch and externally with suppliers and partners.
